This circuit is entirely on paved roads and winds through Val d’Elsa, the Chianti area and the hills surrounding Florence.

Once outside Florence, we’ll immediately enter the hills, cross the countryside and some typical villages (such as Montespertoli, for instance) and end the trip at Tavarnelle Val di Pesa.

The day after we’ll cycle through the sub-area of the classic Chianti “Florentine hills”, cross the beautiful Roman bridge at Sanbuca, pass by the wonderful Abbey of Badia a Passignano and the town of Greve in Chianti and finally come back to Florence along a splendid road bordered by trees and plants.

In the early afternoon we’ll reach Florence, so that you can have time to visit monuments, markets, squares and museums located in the old town centre of the main Tuscan city.

During the last leg we’ll discover hills and villages close to Florence: we’ll pass through the beautiful Roman town of Fiesole, go on towards Olmo and come back through the village of Settignano.
