From Florence to Siena for cycling holiday through the most famous medieval towns and the
beautiful valleys of Tuscany.
The first two days are dedicated to the discovery of the hills of Val d'Elsa and the Chianti. You will have the opportunity to visit some of the most beautiful medieval Tuscan towns: Certaldo (birthplace of Boccaccio and immaculate example of medieval town), San Gimignano (famous for its towers and the production of an excellent white wine - Vernaccia di San Gimignano), Monteriggioni.
Once in Siena the routes are dedicated to the discovery of the Val d'Orcia, UNESCO world heritage site, and in our opinion the most beautiful area of Tuscany. You will have the opportunity to visit villages rich in history, cultural and food and wine traditions such as Montalcino (where is producted the famous Brunello di Montalcino), and admire really impressive landscapes. Then you'll face the ascent of Mount Amiata and return to Siena through the beautiful lunar landscape of the Crete Senesi.
